TITLE: Physical Therapist
Full-time Position
Responsibilities:
Evaluates, establishes goals, plans and performs treatment, assesses treatment effectiveness and makes discharge recommendations. Also promotes communication of patient care information among team members.
Qualifications:
Education
Current Missouri Physical Therapy license.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS degree or higher.
CPR certification.
Experience
Previous clinical experience in hospital setting preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, allied health professionals
and patient/family. Demonstrates ongoing patient and family teaching as evidenced
through verbal and written guidelines. Ability to extract and interpret
patient/family clinical information through interviewing skills. Basic computer skills.
